I’m redoing the design if you couldn’t tell haha :P Its a definite work in progress but right now I just don’t have as much time on my hands to do something spectacular! :( Sorry kiddos. But I feel that right now I want to explore what I really want this site to be about. It’s a year old~! Woohoo! And I haven’t done much with it. How sad.
But that’s okay because I’m starting to get some more time on my hands and becoming more motivated to do things with my spare time instead of other things like playing games or sleeping :P I really miss doing a lot of things I use to do that I just don’t have time to do now! Like creating blends, vectoring, drawing, photography, SO MANY THINGS.
Not that I’m complaining. I really enjoy working at Mixr Media and I’ve learned a lot of new things. Its been about a year since I’ve touched the Aikyrie design and WOW there’s a big difference in skill level. Haha I was such a bad coder before but now I’ve definitely developed and am much more cleaner.
BUT I’m still not done with this site. :P After doing an entire network wide redesign for Mixr Media, I’m a little tuckered out. So please be patient. I would love to hear your feedback on what you think so far.
On a side note, my unique visits has raised in the past few months. I guess that’s a good sign.

Yesterday night was the Red Eight Film Circle “Finishing the Game” Reception which turned out to be a great success. The cast and crew attended including director Justin Lin, Sung Kang and Roger Fan. I played photographer all night long, images are posted on my Flickr account. If you’re in the NYC area, please see the “Finishing the Game” movie showing at the IFC theater. For more Red Eight information, visit www.redeight.org.
Also, I’ve been working not only on Mixr Media but KRPA Media. At the time being only event flyers are posted while company branding and website will be uploaded in the near future. For more information on KRPA Media, visit www.krpamedia.com.

Not entirely! I’ve made the portfolio viewing experience a little more enjoyable. Now when you click on the icons above, you are taken to a new page with a more details about the project and company in addition to more available works. Although at the moment it’s not entirely eye pleasing, it will be!
Lately, I’ve been closing projects and starting new ones - closed one and starting two new ones. In addition, I’ve also been working on a lot of Mixr Media projects such as a redesign for the Asian social news website, Ningin. Mixr Media has been working on a lot of upgrades for it’s social niche websites such as providing a steady flow of articles through its new addition “autoSubmit”. Also, redesigns for both the company and subwebsites and new niche websites. For more details, visit the Mixr Media website at www.mixrmedia.com.
I’ve also been looking for a job at FedEx Kinkos. Keeping my fingers crossed, I hope I get hired.
In other news, I haven’t checked my deviantart or even blogged in forever! So when I finally got around to that today, I saw that on DA I was posted as Wednesday’s Wall of Wows (8/1/07) by Sophquest for my deviation “Morning” created for Mixr Media’s up incoming websites. This is a completely independent (and new) “thing” for the DA community. I wish them the best and hope they expose even more great works of art from the DA community. Could this be it?
No, of course not. Ha! This layout is simple and clean but not enough to be permanent. I realized that I needed SOMETHING quick especially after four months of redesigning a layout over and over, thus I came up with this template.
The design idea was inspired by Hicks Design (www.hicksdesign.com), a European team’s portfolio specializing in web interfaces and printing, especially branding. They are located in Oxfordshire, UK and their client lists consist of the Mozilla Foundation (Firefox and Thunderbird) in addition to various other European companies. Their artwork displays a simplistically unique, clean style that can to appeal to various age groups from trendy teens to stiff business corporations.
While their work deserves much praise, my inspiration was derived from their layout: a simple two column layout with little design. I found this to be the best layout for what I was looking for because it displays my content loud and clean in a way that doesn’t require much coding and time, both of which I don’t have a lot of. So after a quick pick of color scheme, inspiration and some cake, this is what I had came with and in two days, Aikyrie was born…again.
I’m not sure how long this template will stay but hopefully not longer than July as such that my current lifestyle situation is changing.
